Warangal: A 50-year-old businessman, Kosanagottu Hari Krishna, died after sustaining a head injury while fleeing from a monkey attack in Jawahar Colony of Bhupalpally town, police said on Friday.The incident occurred on April 30 when Harikrishna stepped out of his house and encountered a troop of monkeys. When he tried to drive them away, the animals allegedly turned aggressive and chased him, police said. While running to escape, he slipped and fell, suffering a severe head injury. He was first taken to the Government Hospital in Bhupalpally and later shifted to MGM Hospital in Warangal as his condition worsened. He died late on Friday while undergoing treatment.A case has been registered based on a complaint filed by his daughter, Bhupalpally Town Inspector D. Naresh Kumar said.
