Hyderabad: A horrific incident has shaken Katnapalli village in Sultanabad mandal of Peddapalli district, where a three-year-old girl was killed in a brutal stray dog attack.The child, identified as Divya Behra, was playing outside her home when a pack of dogs suddenly pounced on her. In a deeply disturbing turn, the animals grabbed her by the neck and dragged her into nearby fields. By the time anyone could reach her, she had suffered fatal injuries and succumbed to the attack.The tragedy has once again exposed the vulnerability of migrant worker families in the region. Divya’s parents, who had come from Odisha in search of livelihood, were working at local brick kilns and living in the area.The incident has triggered fear and outrage among residents, with many raising alarm over the growing stray dog menace. Locals are now demanding immediate action from authorities, especially to protect children in labour colonies and industrial pockets where such risks are rising.
