Khammam: One person was killed and 36 passengers injured in a road accident early Sunday morning in Chandratanda area of Thirumalayapalem Mandal on Sunday Morning.A lorry traveling from Khammam to Warangal broke down, and the driver stopped it by the roadside. At the same time, TGSRTC super luxury bus traveling from Khammam to Bodhan collided with the stationary lorry. The impact crushed the cleaner Nithish, who was under the lorry, killing him instantly.Police led by SI Jagadish, rushed to the scene and shifted the injured passengers to Khammam Government Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the accident to determine its exact cause.
