441 Social Welfare Students Clear JEE Main



Hyderabad:Overcoming financial and social challenges, students of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) excelled in the JEE Main 2026 results, with 441 qualifying for the JEE Advanced. Of them, 35 scored above the 90 percentile, 156 above 80 percentile and 339 above 70 percentile.Among the top scorers, K. Karthik of CoE Gowlidoddi secured an all‑India rank of 795 in the ST category; S. Vaibhav Prasad 919. From the same institution, Ch. Swaroop scored 98.92 percentile with 2,036 rank in the OBC category, and S. Nikhil secured 97.72 percentile with 1,097 rank in the SC category. K. Akshay Kumar of CoE Wardhannapet scored 97.44 percentile and 1261 rank in the SC category.Girls also performed strongly, with Y. Sirisha of CoE Gowlidoddi Girls’ College securing 2032 rank in the ST category and K. Sri Varsha 3221 rank in the SC category. Overall, three students secured ranks within 1,000, eight within 2,000 and 13 within 3,000. In the PwD category, V. Eswar Varaprasad of CoE Gowlidoddi achieved 202 rank and D. Sirisha of CoE Narsingi 336 rank.Social Welfare minister Adluri Laxman Kumar congratulated the students and encouraged them to excel in the JEE Advanced scheduled for May 17.
