Amaravati: A young woman was brutally attacked with acid in Gurramkonda Pyarampalle, Annamayya district.The assailant, identified as Ganesh from Amma Cheruvu Mitta in Madanapalle, first attacked her with a knife before throwing acid on her face. The victim, whose wedding was scheduled for April 29, was rushed to a government hospital in Madanapalle for treatment. Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the incident.
