We Respect People’s Mandate in Jubliee Hills Bypoll: KTR

Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Ramarao on Friday said that the party would respect the mandate given by the people in Jubilee Hills bypoll. Addressing a press conference after the party suffered drubbing in the elections, he said the party would do a self retrospection on the outcome of the election result. He, however said that more voting percentage should been registered on the polling day. Ramarao said, the party got good voting in the election. He alleged that the political strategy of the Congress and BJP combine yielded the result in the election. The equation between ‘R’ and ‘S’ seems to have worked in the polling. After Lok Sabha elections people felt that BRS was the alternative in the state. We are not disappointed with the result but the party would continue to play the role of opposition.”We will continue to be with people and strive to resolve their issues. We will continue our fight to make party president K. Chandrashekhar Rao as Chief minister,” Ramarao said. Referring to the BJP’s performance, KTR said a national party lost deposit from single digit got earlier.
