Although the disciplinary action was finalised on April 10, formal orders were delayed due to intervening holidays. Official sources said the investigation also revealed suspected online transactions amounting to ?43 lakh between the two sub-registrars. The inquiry is continuing to ascertain whether more officials were involved in the alleged irregular registration network.
