Director Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 is currently trending on social media. The film, which features Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR—two stars who enjoy massive fan followings in different parts of the country—is set to be released in theaters on August 14, 2025.Netflix has acquired the digital rights for War 2. The film is likely to premiere on the streaming platform after its theatrical run, probably around eight weeks after its release. It is expected to start streaming on Netflix by the middle of October.Produced by Yash Raj Films, War 2 features Kiara Advani as the female lead.
