Anantapur:Four persons were seriously injured in a violent clash between two groups of workers at the Sagar Cement factory at Gudipadu village in Yadiki mandal of Anantapur district on Saturday.According to police, the incident was triggered by a heated argument between two vehicle operators, Balanjaneyulu and Srinivasulu, over work-related issues. The dispute quickly escalated into a physical clash, with members of both groups attacking each other.During the violence, four workers sustained serious injuries and were rushed by colleagues to the Tadipatri Government Hospital for treatment.The situation worsened as agitating workers allegedly vandalised the factory office, smashing window panes and damaging several two-wheelers parked on the premises, causing property loss.On receiving information, Tadipatri police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. In view of the tension, additional police forces were deployed and a police picket was set up at the factory to prevent further incidents.Police registered a case and initiated an investigation.
