Hyderabad: The family members of the fire accident’s victims vent their anger at Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav along with other leaders, when they visited Osmania General Hospital (OGH). They surrounded the leaders and expressed their anger over the delay in ambulances reaching the accident site. They said the ambulances should have had some medical equipment that could be carried right into the rooms of the structure that caught fire and save people. The incident shocked the relatives and friends of the victims’ families, who rushed to both the hospitals and the victims’ residence. Relatives alleged that the delayed response by the fire department, lack of oxygen masks, and inadequate water supply in the fire vehicles contributed to the tragedy. “The fire department’s response was very poor. They didn’t even have a drill machine to break through the walls,” allegd Satyanarayana Agarwal, a friend of Rajendra Modi. “I rushed to the spot around 7 am after receiving a call from a friend.” Fatal fires 2025 January: 21-year-old died when a boat caught fire in the Hussainsagar when crackers exploded.
