Warangal: Irrigation minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday inspected desilting works at the Bhadrakali Lake in Hanamkonda district. They reviewed progress — now 50 per cent complete — and urged officials to fast-track remaining operations to finish before the monsoon.Speaking to the media, the ministers spoke of the lake’s cultural and practical importance to the Warangal-Hanamkonda twin cities and praised district collectors Satya Sharada and Praveenya for their coordination. They confirmed the balance of the work will be awarded via short-term tenders to ensure timely restoration.
