TTD EO Reviews Guidelines Of Srivani Trust

Nellore: TTD executive officer J. Syamala Rao instructed officials concerned to review the existing guidelines of the SRIVANI Trust “to make them more efficient, user-friendly and transparent”.SRIVANI Trust was constituted to construct Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples at various locations, all over the country, particularly in SC / ST / BC and weaker section colonies, more prone to religious conversions. Syamala Rao held a review meeting with officials on Saturday at his chamber in the TTD Administrative Building. On this occasion, the EO stated that the construction of temples plays a pivotal role in spreading Sanatana Dharma among the public. He emphasised that such temple projects foster divine contemplation, spirituality, and service-mindedness, which in turn strengthen human values and relationships. He directed officials to prepare a detailed report on the current status of temple construction and renovation works being carried out with the support of Samarasata Sewa Foundation and the Endowments Department. He also instructed that an action plan be drafted for providing Dhoopa, Deepa, Naivedyam and ongoing maintenance for the completed temples. Furthermore, the EO suggested regular inspections by TTD during and after the completion of temple constructions. For neglected temples, he stressed on the need for a clear plan to ensure proper rituals and services. The EO also recommended establishing a dedicated mechanism for managing temples built in underdeveloped areas. Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Veerabrahmam, Chief Engineer Satyanarayana, and FACAO Balaji were present.
