Telegram has launched its crypto wallet in the United States, allowing users to send, receive, and manage cryptocurrency directly within the app—no downloads or browser extensions required.The TON Wallet, developed by The Open Platform (TOP) and built on the TON blockchain, will begin rolling out to U.S. users this week. The wallet will allow users to send stablecoins and other digital tokens to their contacts.The TON Wallet is self-custodial crypto wallet, meaning users have full control over their private keys.Telegram’s crypto wallet will be available to its 87 million users in the U.S.. While Telegram has offered wallet services to international users since 2023, its U.S. launch was delayed due to regulatory conditions.The company said that more than 100 million users have activated wallets globally in 2024.
