Hyderabad:Justice K. Lakshman of the Telangana High Court on Friday quashed a criminal case registered against Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy in connection with an year 2021 incident during a government programme in Choutuppal. The case was registered by the Choutuppal police on charges that Raj Gopal Reddy had obstructed government officials, including then minister G. Jagadish Reddy, during the distribution of food security cards in Lakkaram, Munugode constituency. According to the FIR, while the minister was delivering his speech at the government event, Raj Gopal Reddy allegedly approached the dais, snatched the microphone and caused a disruption. This incident reportedly led to a clash between BRS workers and supporters of Raj Gopal Reddy.
