Sunny Deol’s Role As Hanuman Gets More Space in ‘Ramayan’

Sunny Deol’s career is on a roll. Realizing that his popularity is on the rise, the Ramayan team has given Sunny’s character, Lord Hanuman, a big boost in the screenplay of producer Namit Malhotra’s film.While earlier the character was written as the fourth most important one, after Rama, Sita and Laxman, Hanuman is reportedly now placed between Rama and Sita in the screenplay. Sunny has also been given a couple of a couple of high-calibre action scenes in Ramayan Part 2, which were not there earlier.According to an informed source, the Ramayan team is looking at Sunny’s presence in the film as a casting coup. “With the sequels of Gadar and Border turning out to be such massive successes, the producers are also considering a stand-alone film for Sunny Deol’s Hanuman,” the source shares.
