Strong earthquake jolts Andaman islands

An earthquake of magnitude 6.07 jolted Andaman Islands, as per information by the German Research Centre for Geosciences, GFZ. The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km (6miles), GFZ said.However, the National Center for Seismology reported that the magnitude of earthquake which struck Andaman Sea at 12:06 IST was 5.4 with a depth of 90 km.
