Hyderabad:The GHMC install a statue for former chief minister, the late K. Rosaiah, at Lakdikapul. Rosaiah, former chief minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, holds the record of presenting the state Budget 16 times, which includes seven times in a row. He was the finance minister for many chief ministers including Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.The statue of Rosaiah, who also served as Governor of Tamil Nadu, will be nine feet in height and will weigh 450 kg. It will be made of 82 per cent copper, 5 per cent tin, 10 per cent zinc and 3 per cent lead, according to a statement.
