PUNE: Skoda, the Czech car maker, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in India with the launch of the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia limited editions featuring distinctive design enhancements and premium features. “These special editions are designed with our fans in mind, combining sporty elegance and premium features, including a complimentary accessories kit, and smart innovations that enhance the driving experience,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India. The Kylaq, the compact SUV is priced at Rs 11.25 lakh, Slavia, and Kushaq Monte Carlo editions cost Rs 15.63 lakh and Rs 16.39 lakh respectively. The Kylaq comes with an all-black exterior. The SUV features a black grille with a skid plate, chrome door handles, black ORVMs and roof rails. It also gets a special ’25-year’ badge. The Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Monte Carlo limited edition models also feature an all-black exterior with Tornado Red accents on the front bumper, boot lid, and rear spoiler, as well as along the sides. The cars come with a black grille, ORVMs, black alloy wheels, and a 25-year badge. These models come equipped with underbody lights, puddle lamps, and a 360-degree camera. The Slavia and Kushaq limited editions are available with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both cars also get the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine option. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG.
