Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik has alleged that no fake notes were recovered from the state for a year after demonetisation came into being, reported NDTV. He said, “The Devendra Fadnavis government was providing protection to those running fake notes racket”.Malik also alleged that Fadnavis had appointed Nagpur’s notorious criminal Munna Yadav as the chairman of the Construction Workers’ Board. Fadnavis had also appointed Haidar Azam, who was involved in illegal immigration of Bangladeshis, as the chairman of Maulana Azad Finance Corporation, said Malik.
