Qutub Minar lights up in Tricolour as India unites under 'Ek Desh Ek Dhadkan' campaign



The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has illuminated its prominent monuments in the Tricolour. Many other cultural institutions such as Victoria Memorial (West Bengal), Salarjung Museum (Andhra Pradesh), National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) Delhi, and Regional Science Centre, Lucknow have joined the campaign.The National Archives of India has also joined in, lighting up its iconic building.Under the supervision of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), more than 60 heritage monuments across the country have been lit up with the Tricolour, including the Red Fort, Qila Rai Pithora, Safdarjung Tomb, and Purana Qila in Delhi. Other monuments include Kumbhalgarh, Chittorgarh, and Fort Ghanta in Rajasthan, Gulab Badi (Uttar Pradesh), Udaygiri Caves (Odisha), Ashokan Column (Bihar), Rahatgarh Fort (Madhya Pradesh), and Fort Ballarpur (Maharashtra).“Institutions and organisations under the ministry are initiating programmes such as special storytelling sessions, painting tributes, special exhibitions, musical tributes, quizzes, badge and wristband distribution, and Tiranga Rallies with mass participation to collectively celebrate with people this moment of glory for all Indians,” said officials.
