Hyderabad: An Air India plane with over 100 passengers onboard was crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday afternoon. The incident happened next to Ahmedabad airport, according to preliminary reports. Thick smoke was seen near the airport. Personnel of the fire-services and other departments related to emergency rescue operations were pressed into service to deal with the situation. All roads leading to airport were sealed to assist the fire-fighters. More details are awaited.
