The maximum candidates who are successful are from UP with 1,70,684. The other States that figure in the top five are Maharashtra 1,25,727, Rajasthan 1,19,865, Karnataka 83,582 and Bihar 90954.Delhi NCT has 14 individuals among the top 100 ranks while Rajasthan has 14, Maharashtra has 11, Karnataka and Telangana have 7, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh have 6 while MP and UP have three rankholders each.Among those who sailed through the Entrance are 5,64,611 from the OBC category, 3,38,728 from the General, 1,68,873 from the SC, 67,234 from the ST and 97,085 from the economically weaker sections.Those who took the exam in English were the most successful with 18,22,410 candidates making the cut while the second successful set was those who took the exam in Hindi with 3,28,634 clearing it.A total of 606 Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) were successful in the NEET exam, while 405 NRIs and 529 foreign nationals made it.
