Hyderabad: Unidentified persons abandoned a new-born baby boy in an open place near Musi River in Ramanthapur on Saturday morning. Alert residents noticed the baby, who was wrapped in clothes, crying and rushed to the spot. They then alerted the 108 ambulance. With the assistance of Uppal police, the ambulance staff admitted the baby to Niloufer hospital in Nampally for better care. The staff said the condition of the baby was stable. The Uppal police are enquiring with the locals to know the details of the persons who abandoned the baby near the Musi River.
