Visakhapatnam:Opposition Leader in the legislative council and senior YSRC leader, Botsa Satyanarayana, has said the alliance government in the state is going back on its poll promises. The government is trying to evade its promised Adabidda Nidhi, in the name of P4, while internal bickering in TDP has come to the fore in the Vizag GVMC deputy mayor election, he told the media here on Monday.Satyanarayana said there were enough indications the TD-led government would shelve the Adabidda Nidhi scheme by merging it with P4. This, he said, was another example of how chief minister Chandrabbau Naidu was disappointing the women again.“The TD had promised during the elections to give every woman aged between 18 – 59 a sum of `18,000 annually at the rate of Rs 1,500 per month. Naidu is now backtracking on this and has been saying his government has included it in P4. The alliance partners, the JS and BJP, should make their stand clear on the issue,” he said.Satyanarayana said, “It is always women who get cheated in the governance of Chandrababu Naidu and they are still awaiting implementation of the other schemes promised for them by Naidu during the polls.”He said differences within the TD-led alliance have come to the fore in the GVMC deputy mayor polls. “They could not muster the required number of corporators. The poll was postponed due to lack of quorum.”
