Hyderabad: TS BJP general secretary Kasam Venkateshwarlu asked why Congress ministers were holding review meetings with officials who were alleged to have have indulged in corruption. “Does this mean giving a clean chit to them or does the Congress government intend to give clean chit to the KCR government,” he asked.The party has gone back on its promise to order a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project, Venkateshwarlu said. “What is the party’s stand on the corruption and irregularities in the project? Is this being done to help contractors or KCR?”Addressing the media, Venkateshwarlu said that time was being wasted in the name of review meetings and welfare of people was being ignored. “People are suffering as they are not receiving welfare funds. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy seems to be speaking to please Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.He claimed that money from Telangana state was being used to fund Rahul Gandhi yatra by supplying air-conditioned. “If the Congress doesn’t implement the Six Guarantees, we will fight against them,” he said.
