Hyderabad:The RGIA police and the CISF apprehended a Harayana-based man who attempted to board a flight to Bengaluru using forged documents. During a check, he was allegedly carrying electronic devices used for cheating in recruitment exams.According to RGIA inspector J. Balraju, the accused, Amit Kumar, was intercepted at the security check near gate ATRS-16 on July 8 at about 10.10 pm, based on a complaint from CISF sub-inspector Harsh Singh. Kumar had come to the city from Agra and was trying to travel under the false name ‘Avkash’.During checking, the CISF found bluetooth devices, multiple Aadhaar cards, school certificates, and a rubber stamp of a private college in his luggage. Police suspect he was part of a gang involved in facilitating cheating in competitive exams.The RGIA police registered a case against Kumar and produced him before a court which remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days. Police are investigating and trying to identify other members of the gang.Driver, minor held for drunk drivingHyderabad: A drunk school bus driver and a minor were among those detained by the Hyderabad traffic police during a check at Tolichowki on Friday. The traffic police said that they conducted the check during the day to reduce road accidents and raise awareness to prevent drunken driviving.SHE teams nab 67 for indecent actsHyderabad:The Cyberabad SHE Teams held 100 decoy operations and caught 67 persons for indecent acts and booked 45 petty cases, according to a statment. They received 29 complaints and held 51 awareness sessions.The anti-human trafficking unit (AHTU) conducted sessions on trafficking and child safety issues, which 172 participants attended. Under Operation Muskan-XI, 238 children were rescued, 225 reunited with families, and 13 sent to shelter homes. Bharosa counselled 22 families in domestic disputes, the statement said.18-yr-old dies after falling off terraceHyderabad:Y. Sai Nishanth Reddy, 22, died after reportedly falling from the terrace of his apartment in Pragathinagar in Bachupally, on Thursday night. Bachupally sub-inspector Srinivas said Nishanth Reddy had gone to the terrace for a walk after returning from the gym and having dinner.An hour later, Nishanth Reddy’s father Y. Venkata Subba Reddy, heard a sound and went upstairs to check, but did not find his son on the terrace. He rushed downstairs and found Nishanth lying on the road with multiple injuries. The youth was shifted to a private hospital near JNTU, where doctors declared him brought dead.
