The 01.65 km flyover is expected to reduce traffic congestion at BHEL junction.B. Ramakrishna, a resident of Ameenpur who commutes daily on that road, said “The BHEL flyover is 10-years late, but still it’s a great help in streamlining traffic in the area. We need similar flyovers at Allwyn junction and another one at Miyapur crossroads.”Authorities state that the six-lane road expansion from Aramghar to Shamshabad, completed at Rs 300 crore, also facilitates smoother traffic flow on this high-density corridor. A part of the biggest highway in the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, the elevated corridors, flyovers and Vehicular Underpass (VUP) allow commuters a signal-free road to the airport.
