ANANTAPUR: Former chief minister and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy cancelled his scheduled programmes in Pulivendula in Kadapa district on Wednesday after developing a high fever. Jagan Mohan Reddy was on a three-day visit to Kadapa district, primarily to participate in Christmas celebrations at Idupulapaya and Pulivendula and to interact with party cadres and the public at his camp office. Party sources said he developed a high fever at his residence on Wednesday, following which doctors advised him to take complete rest. In view of the medical advice, all programmes scheduled for the day were cancelled. He is expected to reschedule meetings with party workers and the public on another date. Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived in Pulivendula on Tuesday as part of his visit to his home Assembly segment. He was earlier scheduled to attend party programmes at the Pulivendula camp office on Wednesday.
