Nalgonda: Ashwaraopet police on Monday arrested an inter-state vehicle thief and recovered 10 stolen motorcycles in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district. The accused, identified as Muthyala Ganesh (33), a resident of Puttagatlagudem in Jangareddygudem mandal of Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, was taken into custody during a routine vehicle check when he was found moving suspiciously on a motorcycle.During interrogation, Ganesh confessed to stealing motorcycles across various locations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He admitted to stealing three motorcycles under the jurisdiction of Ashwaraopet police station, one in Dammapeta, and six more in Thadakapuri police station limits in Eluru district.Police said Ganesh, who worked as an autorickshaw driver in his hometown, turned to vehicle theft for easy money.
