Hyderabad: Health minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha on Monday reviewed the situation with regard to preventive measures against monkeypox (mpox). Officials said that Delhi and Kerala had each recorded 15 cases but there was no known case in the state. Rajanarsimha directed officials to ensure that medical kits, medicines, and special wards in hospitals were kept available to treat any outbreak of mpox. He emphasised that there was no need for the public to panic about monkeypox.
