Hyderabad:The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) cleared illegal sheds and structures that had encroached on footpaths along the Asif Nagar to Jhirra Road stretch on Thursday.Officials said the unauthorised constructions were obstructing pedestrian movement and worsening traffic congestion, causing inconvenience to commuters and residents.The GHMC warned that strict action will be taken against those who attempt to illegally occupy public spaces. It urged citizens to cooperate in keeping footpaths clear for pedestrian use.
