Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai showcased the state’s investor-ready ecosystem at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The Chhattisgarh Pavilion, which was part of the expo, drew a significant crowd on its opening day, with over 22,000 visitors experiencing the state’s unique blend of heritage, culture, and tourism.

The event, which is open until August 30, was organized at the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation. The Chief Minister attended the exhibition, highlighting the state’s distinct identity, traditions, and modern progress. “Our identity is not limited to heritage and folk culture alone, but we are also advancing rapidly in the direction of industry, innovation, and global cooperation,” Sai said.

The Chhattisgarh Pavilion featured tribal art, weaving, handicrafts, herbal items, and tourist destinations, captivating the visitors’ attention. According to officials, the special focus of the exhibition was on the state’s industrial capacity, investment opportunities, and future potential, creating a reassuring perception about the state among the international audience.

Visitors from Japan and other countries praised the Chhattisgarh Pavilion, particularly appreciating the handicrafts, bamboo products, Bastar Art, and performances based on folk music. At the ‘Investor Connect event in Osaka’, CM Sai interacted with guests and conveyed that Chhattisgarh is fully prepared to present itself as an ideal destination for investment and partnerships.
