Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar here on Friday appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as a witness in connection with the phone tapping case. Before heading to Dilkusha guest house adjacent to Raj Bhavan in Somajiguda, Sanjay performed special prayers at Sri Hanuman temple near Hyderabad Press Club in Somajiguda. Sanjay appeared before the SIT in response to the notice issued to him in connection with the phone tapping case. Anticipating that a large number of followers of the BJP would gather at the temple as well as at guest house, the Hyderabad police made elaborate security arrangements and ensured proper traffic movement for the office-goers on the ever-busy Somajiguda-Khairatabad road.
