Vijayawada: AP Chambers, in association with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and the Income Tax Department, is organising an awareness session on the ‘Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme’ and ‘TDS/TCS Provisions and their Compliances’ on July 24, 2025 at 4 pm at the AP Chambers Office on M.G. Road in Vijayawada.President Potluri Bhaskara Rao and general secretary B. Raja Sekhar stated that the Union government has allocated approximately ₹1 lakh crore under the ELI Scheme to boost employment generation in the country. In this regard, AP Chambers and EPFO are hosting this session to raise awareness among business enterprises about the scheme. Senior officials from the EPFO and the Income Tax Department will address the participants during the session. The two leaders requested entrepreneurs to participate or depute relevant departmental staff to attend the session and gain an understanding of the ELI Scheme and the TDS/TCS provisions. They added that while there is no participation fee, prior registration is mandatory.
