Authorities withdraw order offering liquor discount to people taking second COVID vaccine jab in Mandsaur

The order had stated that a 10 per cent discount will be given on the purchase of country liquor at three shops in Sitamau Fatak, Bhuniakhedi and Old Bus Stand.The Madhya Pradesh government organised a mega campaign on Wednesday to cover more population under its coronavirus vaccination programme. Mandsaur has not even achieved 50 per cent target of the second dose of Covid vaccine so far. For this, a special drive was launched on Wednesday (Nov 24). Efforts are on to bring more and more people to the vaccination centres. It is in this background the administration thought of giving discount in the purchase of liquor. With agencies inputs
