Visakhapatnam: Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand asked the collectors and EPDCL CMD Immadi Pruthvi Tej to complete the preparation work for laying the foundation of the Feeder Level Solarisation in all 11 districts by the end of this month so that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu could lay the foundation stone for all centres in virtual mode.At the centre for excellence for energy transmission review meeting, the chief secretary spoke about PM KUSUM, the PM Suryagarh scheme, feeder-level solarisation, SC/ST homes’ rooftop solar systems, PM e-drive and other projects with the participating collectors and CMD of APEPDCL. Explaining the progress, the CMD said solar plants having 114 MW power were installed at 35,676 houses in his jurisdiction under the PM Suryagarh scheme. The Chief Secretary told the CMD to speed up the installation of solar plants having a capacity of two kilowatts at two lakh SC/ST homes in EPDCL jurisdiction by March next year.
