Who Are Billy Joel’s Ex-Wives?
Billy’s first marriage was to Elizabeth Weber Small, who is featured in the HBO Max doc. The former couple were married from 1973 to 1982, and Elizabeth worked as Billy’s manager during the early years of his career.
Next, Billy married Christie Brinkley in 1985. The two divorced less than a decade later in 1994. The rocker’s third marriage was to Katie Lee in 2004, and they divorced in 2009.
Billy has been married to his wife, Alexis Roderick, since 2015.
How Is Billy Joel’s Health Today?
Earlier this year, Billy revealed he had ben diagnosed with a brain condition known as normal pressure hydrocephalus, which causes excess cerebrospinal fluid to collect in the brain ventricles. It affects a person’s hearing, vision and balance.
Despite the grim news, Billy reassured fans that he’s taking care of himself during an interview with People that was published in May 2025.
“I know a lot of people are worried about me and my health, but I’m okay,” he told the outlet. “What I have is something very few people know about, including me, no matter how much you try to research it. I’m doing my best to work with it and to recover from it.”
