The issue began after a video of Anasuya in a saree went viral on social media, with a TV channel caption claiming that she started wearing sarees because of Shivaji. The remark did not go down well with the actress, who responded sharply on social media.Reacting strongly, she wrote, “Wrong wrong! The heading should say Anasuya is wearing a saree created by Shivaji, right, because before that we were not wearing sarees.” Her sarcastic and firm reply quickly grabbed attention online.The controversy also brought back memories of past exchanges, as Shivaji had earlier made comments on women’s dressing that had drawn criticism, with Anasuya’s responses making headlines at the time.Meanwhile, a more serious development emerged as the Cyberabad Police arrested two individuals for allegedly posting abusive and vulgar content targeting the actress.
