Hyderabad:Social welfare residential schools recorded the highest pass percentage across all school categories in the SSC March 2026 results at 99.1 per cent. Girls in these institutions registered 99.36 per cent, staying well ahead of the state average of 95.15 per cent.Across residential systems, performance remained consistently high. Schools run by Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) recorded 99.12 per cent, followed closely by BC Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS) at 98.99 per cent.The pass percentage of Telangana State Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSREIS) stood at 98.64 per cent, Minority Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) at 98.08 per cent, and Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) at 98.13 per cent. Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas reported 98%, Model schools 97.83%, and Ashram schools 96.58 per cent.Private schools remained just above the state average at 95.81 per cent, while aided schools recorded 92.37 per cent. Government schools trailed at 86.18 per cent.Top individual scores came from multiple streams. In social welfare institutions, Islavath Tirupati secured 590 out of 600. U. Alekhya scored 585 from TGSWRS Junior College (Girls), Nandimedaram, while M. Shruthi from Boath secured 584. K. Thulasi from Gowlidoddi scored 583 and M. Praveena from Mahendrahills secured 580.BC Gurukul students also reported strong scores. Masula Nithisha from Jangampally and Srinidhi emerged as joint toppers with 588 each. Sai Manoj Reddy from Pochampally and U. Lasya from Pitlam followed with 587. Several others clustered close behind, including G. Shashikanth, G. Srinithya, and R. Shivani with 586, and multiple students at 585. Officials said 60 students scored above 580, 364 crossed 570, and 3,598 secured over 90 per cent.Tribal welfare schools reported a pass percentage of 98.86 per cent. B. Akshaya from Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district secured 587. Her father, Soni Lal, a daily wage worker, said, “I am not literate, my daughter is. She will know best what to do with her life, but it would be great to see her become a doctor or engineer or collector.Other tribal welfare toppers included Sabavath Vaishali and Rathod Bhupal from Sangareddy with 585 each. Sadam Rana from Khammam secured 583, while Nenavath Vinod from Nalgonda scored 582. Rathod Nandini and Rathod Manjula, both from Sangareddy, secured 580 each.Speaking about his result, Sadam Rana said, “I want to get into IIIT Basara in the future. My mother is extremely happy with my result, and we have distributed sweets at home. It will be quite something to make my parents proud like this.”In the minority stream, G. Mounya Sri from Qutbullapur recorded the highest score at 591. Mohd. Rehan from Secunderabad and M. Pooji from Sangareddy secured 589 each. Another Mohd. Rehan from Sangareddy scored 587. Pathan Rehana from Kodad secured 585, while D. Anas Ali from Sangareddy and Singham Srija from Hayathnagar scored 584. Mohd. Ummaya Tarannum from Dharmapuri, Maimoona Madiha from Makthal, and T.
