New Delhi: In a dramatic political development, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha on Friday announced that two-thirds of the party’s members in the Rajya Sabha have decided to merge with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing provisions under the Constitution.Addressing a joint press conference along with fellow MPs Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, Chadha said the decision had been taken collectively by the required majority to seek protection under the anti-defection framework.
