Warangal: In the wake of the TGSRTC strike, Kakatiya University has postponed examinations for two days across institutions under its jurisdiction. Officials announced the decision on Friday, citing inconvenience to students and staff due to disrupted transport services. The university stated that a revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be released shortly. RTC unions have called for a Warangal bandh following the death of a driver, identified as K. Shankar Goud from the Narsampet depot. He succumbed to burn injuries while being shifted from MGM Hospital to a private hospital for advanced treatment. The driver had allegedly self-immolated on the depot premises on Thursday, triggering protests by union members.
