Hyderabad: Telangana has received special recognition in the ‘Divya Bharat’ tourism report released by Niti Aayog. Tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao called it a proud moment for the state.Popular destinations such as Hussainsagar, the Golconda and Bhongir forts, along with spiritual sites like the Yadagirigutta Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple and the Bhadrachalam Temple attracted tourists and natural spots such as Kuntala and Bogatha waterfalls, along with cultural events like Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, added to the state’s appeal, he said.The minister invited tourists from India and abroad, promising better facilities and global promotion of Telangana tourism.
