HYDERABAD: The government has set up 93 Young Indian Institutes of Excellence in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) to support meritorious girls from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds with focused coaching for national-level entrance exams.These centres provide high-quality academic support and operate through both first-year foundation programmes and second-year advanced coaching. Second-year centres include IIT-JEE coaching at KGBV Kamalapur in Hanumakonda for 140 students, NEET coaching at KGBV Bommalaramaram in Yadadri for 146 students, and CLAT coaching at KGBV Kandukur in Ranga Reddy for 82 students. First-year programmes run MPC at KGBV Palamakula in Ranga Reddy for 202 students, BiPC at KGBV Jinnaram in Sangareddy for 202 students, and CEC at KGBV Munugode in Nalgonda for 150 students. Officials said these centres are pooling talented students across the state and offering structured academic guidance, expert faculty support, and a competitive learning environment.
