HYDERABAD: A 25‑year‑old man died and another was critically injured in a bike accident near the PJR Flyover, Gachibowli, in the early hours of Monday. Police identified the deceased as Vikas Kumar Nepak, a private employee from Puppalaguda. The injured, Bharath Kumar, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hitech City and remains in critical condition.The incident occurred around 4 am when complainant Pilli Kalyan, of Hafeezpet, and friends were returning from Nanakramguda after failing to find a tiffin spot. The group was travelling on two bikes. According to police, Bharath Kumar lost control of his bike due to rash and negligent driving. The vehicle skidded and hit a road divider. Vikas Kumar suffered severe head injuries and was taken by a 108 ambulance to Osmania General Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Bharath Kumar sustained grievous injuries and was rushed to another hospital.
