Karimnagar/Warangal: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) announced the results for the 2025-26 academic year, which revealed a positive trend in pass percentage for Karimnagar and Warangal districts, on Sunday.Karimnagar district demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory over the last five years. In the latest results for 2025-26, the district achieved an impressive overall pass percentage of 80.04 per cent, a significant jump from the 70 per cent in 2021-22.A total of 14,943 students appeared for the exams in the district, with 11,961 successfully passing.Continuing a long-standing trend, girls outperformed boys, securing a pass percentage of 85.94 per cent, compared to the boys’ 74.28 per cent. This year’s performance marks the district’s best showing in the half-decade period.Warangal district also reported a healthy recovery in its academic performance. After a dip following the 2020-21 pandemic year, when all students were promoted, the district’s pass percentage has risen steadily from 58 per cent in 2021-22 to 61 in the 2025-26 academic session.While the total number of students appearing has gradually decreased from 7,242 to 4,678 over five years, the quality of results has improved by three percent during that span.Following the release of the results at 11 am, Union minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar congratulated those who achieved high marks and are moving toward their next academic goals. He focused a significant portion of his message on students who fell short of their expectations.“Do not lose heart if the marks are not according to your expectations,” the minister said in a social media post, “This is merely a milestone in your journey, not the final destination. Your future does not depend on a single result, but on how you choose to step forward from here,” he added.
