Nalgonda: Executive officer of the Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple, S. Venkat Rao, has resigned from his post, and the resignation has been accepted by the state government.Informing the media, Venkat Rao said he stepped down due to personal and health-related reasons. He added that the government has accepted his resignation and orders would be issued shortly appointing a new executive officer to the temple. Venkat Rao expressed confidence that development works at the temple would continue in the coming days. A 2015-batch IAS officer, Venkat Rao was appointed as executive officer of the temple by the state government after his superannuation on August 31, 2025.
