Leaders Flag Impact of Privatisation on Bahujan Jobs

WARANGAL: Hanamkonda District Bar Association president P. Satyanarayana on Wednesday called upon lawyers and members of the Bahujan community to participate in large numbers in the 42nd National Convention of the Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (BAMCEF). He made the appeal after releasing a poster at the Martyrs Memorial near the Adalat Centre in Hanamkonda.Speaking on the occasion, Satyanarayana said the convention, jointly organised by BAMCEF and the Rashtriya Mulnivasi Sangh, will be held for three days from December 26 at the Barbani Stadium in Cuttack. He said the event aims to strengthen the struggle for social justice and Bahujan political empowerment. The convention is being organised in collaboration with the Bharat Mukti Morcha and the National OBC Morcha. Satyanarayana said its primary objective is to create public awareness against efforts aimed at dividing Bahujan society. Indian Legal Professional Associations (ILPA) general secretary Saini Narendar said the convention would focus on key issues affecting a majority of the country’s population. He said the agenda includes demands for a comprehensive caste census for Backward Classes, implementation of reservations based on population, and discussions on how privatisation of public sector undertakings is reducing employment opportunities for Bahujan communities. Leaders present said BAMCEF aims to transform the Bahujan community into an independent political force capable of securing its rights and representation. They criticised the sale of government assets to private entities, stating that such policies directly affect the livelihoods of underprivileged sections.
