A married woman was allegedly assaulted and killed by her family members in Nanded district of Maharashtra. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when the woman’s paramour visited her at her residence in Golegaon village. Her in-laws discovered them together and handed them over to her maternal family members, who were waiting at the scene.

The woman and her paramour were allegedly beaten up while being taken to the paramour’s village of Borjunni. They were then thrown into a well in the Kakrala area under the Umri police station limits. The woman’s body was later recovered, but her paramour remains missing.

An investigation into the case has revealed that the woman’s father, uncle, and grandfather were allegedly involved in the killings. The woman’s father initially claimed responsibility for the crime, but further investigation revealed the involvement of his uncle and grandfather. All three have been detained by the police and further investigation is ongoing into the case.
