Hyderabad: The city traffic police issued an advisory in view of the installation of the Khairtabad Bada Ganesh, placing restrictions from August 27 till immersion day on September 6. Commuters could call the helpline 9010203626 for travel assistance, the traffic police said. Police requested motorists to avoid Khairtabad, Shadan College, Nirankari, Old Saifabad police station, Mint Compound, and Necklace Rotary. Traffic from VV Statue towards Mint Compound via Rajiv Gandhi statue will be diverted towards Nirankari Junction. Traffic from Old PS Saifabad towards Bada Ganesh via Rajdoot lane will be diverted towards Iqbal Minar. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Imax Theatre via Mint Compound will be diverted at Secretariat Temple crossroad towards Telugu Talli junction. Traffic coming from Necklace Rotary towards Mint Compound will be diverted towards Telugu Talli junction or Khairatabad flyover. Traffic coming from Nirankari via Khairatabad Post Office towards Khairatabad railway gate will be towards Old PS Saifabad junction. For visitors from Necklace Rotary and NTR Garden, the parking lots are at Race Road, NTR Ghat, HMDA parking beside Imax Theatre, open place opposite I-Max Theatre, Saraswathi Vidya Mandir High School premises. Those coming from Khairatabad junction should park their vehicles at Visvesvaraya Bhavan.
