Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has dismissed allegations of “vote theft” made by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Fadnavis described Gandhi as a “serial liar” and claimed that the Congress leader has been spreading false information relentlessly.

The Chief Minister stated that false information lacks a foundation and that attempts to deceive people will ultimately fail. He emphasized that winning the trust of the people requires earning their votes through genuine means, rather than relying on lies.

Gandhi had earlier alleged that votes were stolen in several states, including Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Haryana, and that attempts were being made to manipulate the voting process in Bihar ahead of the upcoming assembly polls. Fadnavis’s comments come as a response to these allegations, with the Chief Minister accusing Gandhi of spreading lies to convince himself and others.
